For the second straight year, Revolution Cycling Team provided support to the Wapkoneta YMCA for the 8th Annual Moonfest Tour. There were 156 participants (up from last year's 153) riding routes of 12, 25, 40 and 62 miles. Friday evening saw a group sweeping intersections and early Saturday morning members fanned out to man home base, three rest stops and two SAG vehicles. The weather was warm which turned to hot. Unfortunately there was one accident with non life-threatening injuries. However, the outcome could have been much different as it was reported that the rider's helmet was severely cracked. The group who finally stopped to give aid (the third group to pass) are to be commended for caring for their fellow rider in a most critical situation. There was also one report of a flat tire. All in all a very good day, thanks to the many volunteers who gave up riding for a day to host their fellow cyclists.
